Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), also known as human herpesvirus 4, belongs to the herpes virus family. The deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) of EBV is approximately 172 kb and in the form of both linear-circular and double-stranded. Laborant EBV Quantification Kit detects quantification of the EB virus by real-time PCR (qPCR). This kit is used for the quantitative detection of EB virus with multiplex PCR. Kit contains 4 standards (BKV-S E3, BKV-S E4, BKV-S E5, BKV-S E6) that include a certain number of virus copies. The copy number of the unknown sample is calculated through these standards.
