Hepatitis B virus (HBV), a member of Hepadnaviridae family, is infect the hepatocytes specifically and cause severe liver diseases. The deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) of HBV is approximately 3.2 kb and in the form of relaxed-circular DNA. Laborant HBV QuAnt RT-qPCR Kit detects quantification of the Hepatitis B virus by real-time PCR (qPCR). This kit is used for the quantitative detection of Hepatitis B virus with multiplex PCR amplification. Kit contains 4 standards (HBV-S 5E3, HBV-S 5E4, HBV-S 5E5, HBV-S 5E6) that include a certain number of virus copies. The copy number of the unknown sample is calculated through these standards.
